How Does MOPO Work?
How do I get a MOPO rental?
Tell us your phone number and location here and you will see a list of MOPO agents near you. You will be shown a list of agents and where they rent MOPO. Call them or meet them, whichever you prefer. Once you’ve finished your rental, contact your MOPO agent or deliver it back to them at their place of work.
Does MOPO work across Nigeria?
No. Please tell us your location here. You will see if MOPO is working in your area. We are expanding quickly and if we aren’t in a location near you now, we hope to reach you soon
Can I get more than one MOPO product at a time?
Of course! You can rent as many or as few MOPOs as you like.
What happens if I don’t return the product?
MOPO batteries only last for the number of hours that you rent it for. After that period, the MOPO will stop working – even if it is charged. If you do not return your expired MOPO battery then you will be unable to rent new MOPO batteries and you will be blocked from renting any MOPO batteries in the future. Our agents are on hand to answer any questions you may have.
I want to return my MOPO product — how do I do this?
Simply return your MOPO to the agent you rented from.
Do I have to return it to the same agent or hub I rented it from?
Yes, take your MOPO back to the same agent or hub.
What happens if my MOPO product isn’t working?
First check that your rental hasn’t ended and that you haven’t used all of the MOPO’s energy. If the MOPO’s LED is flashing red then you have used all of its energy. Once you have completed these checks, talk to your agent, they will be able to help. If the MOPO isn’t working, your agent can help.
Do I rent by the hour? What options are available?
Yes, for the MOPOMax you rent by 6, 10 and 12 hour periods. For MOPO50, you rent by 6, 12, and 24 hour periods.
Can I charge multiple appliances at the same time and expect it to last the whole rental period?
It depends. When you first rent a MOPO battery, it will be fully charged. You can power as many appliances as you like. However, the more appliances that you use the shorter the period of time the battery will last.
Can I charge my MOPO at home?
No, MOPOs are charged by MOPO. We are working on home-charged batteries and future energy solutions. Watch this space!
Can I buy a MOPO product?
Not yet but we’re working on it!
